Led by President and co-founder Monique, THI focuses on digital sovereignty and aims to provide secure digital identities to vulnerable populations worldwide. Top 100 Digital Shapers of Switzerland (Digital Switzerland)

Monique was recognized as one of Switzerland’s 100 Digital Shapers in 2018. As a small country without natural resources, Switzerland has always been dependent on innovation. It was in the national interest to keep pace with current technology and the speed of new developments. In collaboration with BILANZ, Handelszeitung, Le Temps, and 11 top-class jury members, Digital Switzerland selected the 100 Swiss citizens who played the most important role in digitalization for the third time.

The Inaugural Top 50 Women in Technology lists, launched by Forbes, recognize innovative women across various tech sectors worldwide. Monique was recognized among the “Warriors” for leveraging blockchain technology to create verifiable digital identities for over a billion people worldwide who lack legal documentation. These individuals, often displaced by conflict and famine, are vulnerable to human trafficking and excluded from essential aid.

2017 DECA International Entrepreneurial Spirit Award

Monique Morrow was one of six Global Achievers recognized in 2014 for her work to support women in tech and her own leadership role in the tech sector. At the time, Monique was the Chief Technology Officer of Services of Cisco Systems. Her recognition was made during the annual global awards event recognizing efforts to support women and girls in tech, the then GEM-Tech Awards – now known as the EQUALS in Tech Awards. The award recognized her efforts to use technology to advance the human rights of marginalized individuals, especially the 1.1 billion people without legal identity. Her organization provides these individuals with a virtual identity, empowering them to access essential services and protect against exploitation.

Participant in Women in Standardization Expert (WISE) Group (ITU)

ITU organized its first Women in Standardization Expert Group (WISE) event at the World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA-16), on 30 October 2016 in Yasmine Hammamet, Tunisia. The event consisted of a workshop on practical skills for successful negotiations, as part of ITU-T's commitment to promoting equality for men and women delegates attending its meetings and conferences, followed by a panel discussion highlighting the experiences of leading women from the ICT and standardization fields. she facilitated the launch of the Women in Standardization Expert Group for ITU.

Woman of Influence (YWCA-NYC)

Monique was honored by the YWCA of the City of New York during the 43rd Annual Academy of Women Leaders SALUTE Luncheon for her commitment to diversity and female-focused initiatives. Monique was honored for her dedication to promoting engineering to women. With over 20 years of experience in IP internetworking, she encourages women to pursue their passions, take risks, and embrace technology.

Clementina Saduwa Award Winner (IEEE Region 8)

The Clementina Saduwa Award recognizes women engineers who have demonstrated excellence in their field and supported other women in the profession to honor the memory of Clementina Saduwa, a former IEEE Nigeria Section volunteer leader and the first IEEE Region 8 Women in Engineering Coordinator, who was tragically killed in 2007. Monique, the former Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Cisco Services, has over 20 years of experience and is known for her advocacy for women in technology, including presenting on this topic to the European Parliament.
